I'm a playwright, author, and TV writer and producer. I'm most fascinated by inclusive storytelling, particularly female-centered. I'm excited about delving into the ways in which philosophy, politics, education, work, religion, and spirituality figure into and inform our lives--and how the stories we tell can and do transform us--and our entire society...
My non-fiction books include Essential Writing Skills for College and Beyond and College Success for Adults. My plays have been featured in such venues as Frontera Fest, The One Minute Play Festival, and The Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival. With my co-writer, Thomas Hardwick, scripted TV pilots range from a one-hour family comedy/drama, inspired by events in my own family's never-ending drama (Pagewood), to an animated children's comedy (The Pug & Poodle Show), to a one-hour comedy/drama investigating the myriad ways in which we find--and keep--love in the modern era (Long Distance Love).
I'm very interested in connecting with other writers, producers, showrunners, and executives--essentially anyone with a passion for TV and who would like to help a newbie break into the business. Thanks so much, and I look forward to connecting!
