Camille Hugh

Camille Hugh is a Jamerican (Jamaican born, New York bred) multi-hyphenate. She created and stars in the comedy series, Am I the Crazy Girlfriend? and co-created and co-stars in the dog centric buddy series, Ruff and Tug.

She has also written, produced, and acted in numerous comedic short films about topics ranging from dating in NYC to the horrors of getting suck on hold under her production company, Sitinpretty Productions.

Camille tells authentic and universal stories about diverse and hilariously relatable WOC navigating unexpected twists. She explores themes of love, friendship, and female empowerment, and her strengths are witty dialogue, complex characters who make you root for them, and world building.

Next, she will be filming her indie rom-com, Getting Over You, as well as developing her Irish-based holiday movie, The Rocky Cashel Christmas.

Camille has an MBA in marketing management from Pact University and was trained at Magnet Theater and Improv Now. Most recently she was awarded the City Artists Corps Grant.
