What should I do if an actor is always trying to change up lines the day of shooting when I really want something to be said the way I wrote it for the sake of communication for the audience. i.e I had a line "Your husband Carlos told me, he hired me to kill you" the actor wanted to change it to "Your husband Carlos told me, he hired me to take you out" The scene takes place in a restaurant at a table for two and the guy is a paid assassin of bad people but I didn't want the actor to say "Take you out" because I didn't want the audience to think that the husband hired him to take her out on a date although they were pretty much on a date, I just wanted the audience to know at that point that he was going to kill her. I always consider my actor's input and I do make changes at times but am I wrong if I want to be firm and keep things a certain way?
I appreciate all of you guy's feed back.
As an Actor, I try to be true to the Writer/Director's vision. I may make a suggestion but ultimately, I defer to them. Maybe suggest doing it both ways but they are there to serve your vision!

If so could you place the bedroom above the kitchen as a second floor room? Then it's just lighting cues to go from one to the other. Or if you do not need to quickly go from one to the other have you thought about a turntable with one set on one side and the other behind it. Table turns and the scene is changed.
It's awfully hard to pick a handful of films and say yeah that's it, but I think if I were on an deserted Island these films would get me through it. They are some of the best of their genres and each speak to me on multiple levels and all are just beautiful to look at. Cinematography at it's best. Not shown here some 2000 other films I would want.
