Hello there and welcome! I'm an up and coming videographer with experience in scriptwriting, audio & video editing as well as camera operation. My goal for the future is to become a movie director and create a feature film of my own.
I've just finished four semesters of Video Production at Durham College's School of Media, Art & Design (MAD for short), and in that time, I've learned quite a lot about camera operation and Adobe software (specifically Photoshop, Audition & Premiere Pro) and I've built up quite a portfolio with various images and video content.
At the start of our first year, we've been thrust in the College's 48 Hour Film Challenge where we are given the task to create a short, two minute film with specific conditions for each team that was given by the people running the challenge. All of the members of our group had various, flexible roles, with me being in the role of one of the scriptwriters, co-editors as well as one of the main actors, where I decided to shave my head to better sell my part. Our movie, "The Box" ended up winning up the Best Picture of the Year as well as Best Adventure Film, and I have to admit - I wouldn't have won these if it weren't for my teammates who put the same amount of passion into this project as I did.
As for myself, I am quite an open person who is has no problem doing the most unorthodox of things if it means getting that one perfect shot, however I will never pressure anyone into doing something that I personally wouldn't do. I always welcome ideas, suggestions and different perspectives and I'll always seek to create some sort of compromise so that any potential creative differences don't cripple the project. Criticism and constructive feedback is always welcome since I always strive to become a better writer, a better camera operator and a better creator in general, and having someone point out the mistakes that I might miss or offer me a new, better and easier way of doing something that I personally would never think of is something that really helps in the long run.
