About Amy

I have been working in film and video for over 10 years. I came to filmmaking from a combined background in photography and theater - makes sense, right? I began as an editor, but then in order to gain editing experience, I began writing and directing short films. I also work with non-profit organizations to create promotional and fundraising videos. Currently, I am working on writing feature screenplays.

I also have a great passion for helping women in my profession. I am currently on the board of Women In Film, Portland chapter (www.wifpdx.org). A few years ago, I began teaching classes for youth and adults at the Northwest Film Center School of Film (www.nwfilm.org).
