Ulrika Euliss

I'm a screenwriter residing in Los Angeles, part-time in Florida and a member of Film Florida. I have a degree in Marketing and a certificate in Gig Economy in Entertainment. I worked as a photographer for many years (still do a job here and there) and I have worked in the film industry and in commercials in different capacities in Los Angeles and overseas. I'm just beginning to produce/co-produce, currently in development-stages of one of my projects (Im)Perfect Timing. Both my screenplays (Im)Perfect Timing and Chateaumoms started out a as rom-coms but are now breaking the mold of the traditional rom-com with added drama, mystery and action. They have a diverse cast, global stories and commerciality- and it's really exiting!
I am also in the process of writing a drama about a woman who lost her husband to the pandemic, leaving her a single mother with a young child who is struggling with the aftermath of both the pandemic and the loss, and their journey to finding solace and love again, in a very unexpected way. I feel this is a very important subject. We also are in great need of more uplifting content; the evidence of that I think, is the streamers constantly adding rom-coms and the proof being the large audience in the genre.

I try to incorporate environmental awareness in my scripts; reusables, t-shirts, cups etc. with logos of organizations, comments, environmentally conscious brand integration and sustainability where it fits the story. More and more production companies and studios are hopping on this train, and as writers, directors, producers.... we have a lot of power to influence people to do good!

I speak English and Swedish fluently, advanced in French and Italian. I speak some German and I'm currently learning Spanish.
