Artist, photographer, writer, and sometimes actor.
Born in Michigan, raised in Western Pennsylvania, and has lived her entire adult life in California. Went to Ivy School of Professional Art in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, majoring in photography and then received her B.A. in Studio Art with an emphasis in Painting at Sonoma State University. Kimberly moved to Oakland, California in 1986 specifically to study Congolese dance and drumming with Malonga Casquelourd at the (then) Alice Arts Center. During that year she also studied for a few months in Paris, France. She studied with Malonga for 15-years as well as teachers in the South African and Senegalese styles. These studies gave her a great sense of choreography, movement, and rhythm. She started acting at the age of 62.
Favorite genre is sci-fi.
