Julie Nakanishi

I have an undergraduate degree in English from Harvard College (A.B. cum laude) and have continuously nurtured my interest in creative writing and storytelling, honing my writing and observational skills and generating ideas for stories, characters, and scenes.

I have completed ScreenwritingU’s ProSeries Professional Screenwriting Program and Jacob Krueger Studio’s screenwriting and TV writing courses. I recently won a comedy title competition and was a Quarter Finalist in a Screencraft competition. Two genres I am currently exploring are dramedy and suspense. In addition to numerous technical publications, I have completed three full-length screenplays and have several works-in-progress.
