Eugene Botha

Eugene Botha, PhD is a South African academic author, investigative journalist documentary filmmaker and producers. He is the CEO of a prominent production company in South Africa (.za) and has won multiple South African and international television and broadcast awards. He has produced and directed 43 documentary films that were all broadcast on national television and he has produced in excess of 250 investigative pieces for a leading current affairs show, very similar to 60 Minutes, called Carte Blanche. The company produces reality television, documentary films, game shows, children's programming and was also the content producer for the Oscar Pistorius Trial Channel when the case was live in court -- from March to July 2014. Eugene has a doctorate in Religious Studies and specializes in history, true crime and technology stories.
