Dennis Willis is an award-winning producer, editor, writer, and film critic (print and radio). He produced and co-hosted the TV programs Soundwaves and Reel Life (later called Filmtrip), and hosted the weekly radio features At the Movies and Home Media Guide, which were featured on KGO Radio in San Francisco for ten years, and now on 107.7 The Bone.
He is a member of the San Francisco Film Critics Circle and the Broadcast Film Critics Association. He co-wrote and edited Changing Boundaries: The History of San Jose, which aired on PBS, and produces and hosts the weekly music series Soundwaves TV.
Dennis currently hosts a pair of Soundwaves-branded shows spotlighting independent artists: Soundwaves TV, a Bay Area-based program with independent music videos, performances and interviews; and Soundwaves FM, celebrating the Bay Area music scene, past, present and future, which airs on KSAN radio (107.7 The Bone).
He is the director of the documentary I Am Soundwaves.
