Several optioned screenplays, including The Electra Conspiracy, a suspense thriller, Whispers on the Wind, a Welsh family saga/ coming of age story, The Forsaken and the Damned, Degataga and the Box of Souls, Web of Fear and more.

Kit Stolz, a reader at Paramount described her writing in the dramatisation of her novel Whispers on the Wind as groundbreaking and advised she be put on the recommended list of writers for period drama.

Her screenplay ROSE was a writing assignment for Carl Medland, Discovery Films and the trailer is being made this year.

Liz has collaborated with other screenwriters, most notably Debbie Majinska together they have over twelve screenplays.

She has 11 published novels with Belvedere.

Her first novel, Killing Me Softly was published in February ‘95 by Edward Gaskell.

Due to requests from readers a fourth in this series was published in October 2014 - WOULD I LIE TO YOU.

Further novels include a Welsh coming of Age trilogy WHISPERS ON THE WIND, SHADOWS ON THE MOON and RAINBOWS IN THE CLOUDS. She is currently working on the fourth in that series THUNDER IN THE SUN.

Stand alone novels include THE ELECTRA CONSPIRACY - a thriller, AGAINST THE TIDE - highly acclaimed by the Historical Novel Society, SANJUKTA AND THE BOX OF SOULS - a fantasy adventure, THE FORSAKEN AND THE DAMNED - another historical set in China and Singapore

She was commissioned by Jill Lamede to dramatise her book, ‘It’. A Violet for Jill is the result, which director Anthony Richards intends to direct.

She has three one act plays, Check-mate first performed by Imago Theatre at the Blacksell Arts Centre April ‘ 99 and subsequently at the Guild Hall Chard, May ’99 and Chambercombe Manor August 2000 by the New Writers’ Theatre Company.

Three full length plays ‘Mockingbirds Don’t Sing’ - a drama, which was short listed by Stop Gap Theatre at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre Guildford for its new writing season and reached the long list for the Verity Bargate Award in 2000 and subsequently performed by the New Writers’ Theatre Company in May 2003.

“Milly’s Moments” a farce, and ‘In the Chill of the Night’ a spooky thriller, all published by New Theatre Publications.

BACKGROUND
Liz comes from an extensive theatre background. A professional actress for over fifteen years and subsequent lecturer in A level Theatre Studies and Performing Arts. Fully qualified in English, Speech and Drama she is now writing full time and has recently made a return to her acting career.

She reached the final stages in two BBC Competitions, 'Breakers', with Domino and 'Broken and Blue' with her comedy Steve Wright in the Afternoon in 2004.

She reached the shortlist for the Sci-Fi shorts competition in 2001 with two of her scripts. The Gift and Ariston. The Gift was subsequently filmed by A Up Productions.

A finalist in major screenwriting competitions with honourable mentions in others.
