Tonya Collier is a producer and writer at Walking on Fire Productions LLC. Current projects include a documentary on Jerry Lewis and his relationship with his son, Scott Lewis, and a docuseries on the work of explorer Urs Jakob.
She’s a prominent script reader and story analyst, and continues to run Greenlight Script Lab, consulting for both writers and filmmakers, and sitting on the judging panel of international screenplay competitions.
Tonya is an award-winning writer and has been published extensively throughout her career in a variety of mediums. Her strong background in business and finance allows her a multidimensional perspective on writing and development, focusing not only on the creative and technical elements of a production, but also on feasibility and marketability. She has a keen eye for identifying potential production issues and proactive problem-solving.
Tonya holds an MFA from Mount Saint Mary’s University and a BA from the University of Massachusetts. She resides in Los Angeles by way of Seattle, New York, and Connecticut.
