Vaughn Roste has recently optioned his feature screenplay, ORADOUR, which is currently in development hell. His award-winning short FIREFIGHTER won the grand prize - production - in the 2020 MP3 screenwriting contest, and is scheduled to be shot this summer. He has won 51 screenplay awards to date. He is a published author of books, plays, poems, peer-reviewed articles, book reviews, program notes for CD liners and Carnegie Hall, and a doctoral dissertation. His book, The Xenophobe’s Guide to the Canadians was published by Oval Books in England (1st edition 2003 through the 8th edition, revised, 2016).
