I'm primarily a writer and narrative consultant but I also teach and am usually connected to several projects - some my IP, some not my IP - at once. I've also worked as a director, editor, sound designer and engineer, as well as an actor and voice-over artist. I studied film at UT/Austin, have an MA in Dramatic Structure from NYU that I got while working as a sound engineer at the Tisch Film School. I've been teaching at the college level for 30 years and currently teach Acting at Syracuse University. I've also taught Dramatic Structure and Analysis, Playwriting, and Composition. I'm a co-founder and lead mentor for Animate BootCamp, I regularly work on international projects and have premiered shows in NYC and much further afield. I worked in NYC theater for many years but currently live in central NY. My play entitled "Papeles," was a finalist in the City Theatre’s National Playwriting Competition in 2013. Many of my plays are available via the New Play Exchange. I'm Drama Editor for the Stone Canoe literary journal and an NMCA Certified teacher of the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique.
