Kathryn Elise Drexler

Kathryn “Elise” Drexler is an Oregon-born, Texas-raised storyteller and social advocacy enthusiast who enjoys writing narratives that explore the present and historical Black American condition. A proud graduate of Columbia University and UCLA's Master of Fine Arts in Film Directing, it is her dream to establish a career of plurality as a writer, director, and performer in the medium of television. In the past, she has worked as a creative assistant to Gina Prince-Bythewood and as a writers' assistant on CBS/Apple TV/Imagine Studios' upcoming original show, Swagger. After wrapping two seasons in post production on The Mandalorian, she now works as a project manager for the creative department at The Third Floor.
