About Jules

Jules Jones graduated with Honors from Wesleyan University. She has produced numerous commercial projects around the world for clients such as Dell Inc, music videos for Tim McGraw and Def Leppard, several feature films with stars such as Haley Joel Osment and Olympia Dukakis, reality tv programming, and various documentary projects. Jules is a former All Star Banked Track Roller Derby skater and was the bassist, keyboardist and co-vocalist of the dreampop band Ephrata. In 2011, she co-wrote the romantic comedy Planet Single (Planeta Singli) for Gigant Films with fellow Attackships creative Sam Akina, directed by Mitja Okorn. Planet Single was Poland's 2nd highest grossing film of 2016 and won numerous awards at various festivals including the audience award at CinEast. In 2018 Jules co-wrote the sequels Planeta Singli 2 and 3 which shot back to back in Poland. Planeta Singli 2 was released theatrically in November and became Poland's 3rd highest grossing film of 2018, surpassing Hollywood blockbusters Avengers: Infinity War and Solo: A Star Wars Story at the Polish box office. Part 3 was released in Feb 2019 and was the 6th highest grossing film at the Polish box office in 2019. She co-wrote the gangster comedy Mayday for producer Wojtek Pałys which released theatrically in January 2020 and is Poland’s 4th highest grossing film of 2020. She co-wrote the animated film Dreamworld for producer Daniel Markowicz. She is currently developing an English language horror film for Gigant Films that will be her directorial debut.
