I am a second generation artist originaly from Colorado. After attending CU boulder for my BFA in film production, I became a dockhand for a stage lighting company in Denver. I learned lighting and Grip gear while working there, and began getting Production Assistant jobs. Colorado is a great state to learn in and got lots of experience on different sized productions from Multi-Million dollar car commercials, to low budget independant features. I worked my way up trying a few different departments, but my natural talent and love of art and building things led me to the Art Dept. and Props Dept. I was fortunate enough to be hired as the local Art Director for an episode of the Amazing Race (start city Season 9) That eventually led to bieng hired to be 1 of 2 art directors to travel the world with the show. I am proud to say I have worked in over 30 countries on 5 continents. After my stint on Race I moved to Los Angeles, and was able to get into the Art Directors Guild (IATSE Local 800) as both an Art Director, and Sr. Illustrator/Matte Artist.
I have always been passionate about illustration, from my dad's "Illustrator Anual" art books, to my comic colection. Sci Fi and Comic books have always intrested me. Which leads me to what brought me to Stage 32, I have an Animated Sci Fi epic that I has been percolating in my head for 20 years, and its time has finally come.
