About Simon

Simon Iliopoulos is a dedicated movie enthusiast who, after successfully managing two video hire stores, pursued a career in screenwriting. He committed years to perfecting his craft, delving into Hollywood film screenplays and literature on writing. Simon furthered his expertise by enrolling in a six-week film production course and working as an extra in various film and television productions for four years. Armed with a decade of industry experience, Simon founded a small management company to represent writers. His efforts resulted in securing a prestigious writing assignment for one of his writers in Hollywood. Despite these achievements, Simon felt the need to re-evaluate and refocus on his personal filmmaking goals. With unwavering determination, Simon redirected his energy into crafting his own material and has since completed two screenplays, with more in development. Born in Sydney, he lived there for 41 years before moving to Queensland's Gold Coast in 2004.
