Garner has been a writer, musician, composer and songwriter for 20 years, and performed both solo and with his band Tao Jones, and with Big City Improv providing live music for their performances. Garner graduated from University of Guelph with a BA in Philosophy, where he also began his script writing career producing the science fiction radio comedy Post Modern. In August of 2005, with a friend, he wrote and co-produced one of Canada’s first Web series, Hockey Strike. Born, adopted, and raised in Toronto, he now lives in Stratford, Ontario, with his family.
Garner is a Member of the Writers Guild of Canada (WGC), and a Canadian citizen.
