Shannon Phelan is a 30 year old, who was born in London to a Jamaican mother and Irish father. At 6 she moved to Waterford, Ireland where she spent her formative years devouring cinema with a special taste for 70’s & 80s horror.
She returned to London to study film and earned her B.A. After graduating, she returned to Waterford where she wrote and directed several plays for her local theatres. In 2015, She graduated from IADT, With an MA in TV & Radio Broadcast production.
She now resides in Dublin working in Brown Bag films, as a Production Coordinator. In what can only be described as an obsession, Shannon can spend endless hours writing and developing her own screenplays. Consumed by story-telling, she aspires to write and direct her own features in the near future.
