Alan Pollard an actor, singer, and musician, in that order. He has numerous theatre, commercial, TV, and film credits, as well as extensive experience as a working professional musician and vocalist. Occasionally, he gets to work in multiple disciplines simultaneously, as he did in WaterTower Theatre's productions of Shakespeare's "As You Like It," and, "The Grapes of Wrath." Alan's biggest theatre adventure, so far, was playing the dual roles of Farmer Brown/Brother Bob in the national touring production of, "Giggle, Giggle, Quack!" My favorite on-camera adventures have been PRISON-A-GO-GO! and Barney & Friends. You can look for him in TV commercials, representing companies like Zaxbys, Texas Lottery, , Trinity Medical Center and Rent-a-Center.
As a singer and musician, Alan has spent the last 30+ years having the extremely good fortune of sharing the stage with a vast array of very talented folks, including T. Bone Burnett, Harry Dean Stanton, Everette Harp, Dennis Quaid, Shake Russell, Gene Stroman, Joey C. Riley, Robert Rodriguez, Jim Belushi, Johnny Reno, and Ricki Derek. His album credits include work for multi-Grammy Award winning producer Brad Benedict, multi-Grammy Award winning engineer Michael Frondelli, and acclaimed Texas producers Johnny Reno, Jeff Howe, and Mike Dane. He has been a feature performer at the Kansas City and New Orleans Jazz festivals, and has national and international touring experience.
