What are you doing to put the word out about your projects besides social media?

I think that Maxit is a great indie online magazine to promote projects in and I would like ideas to find similar outlets. My film, Mojo" is now in it. If you could please, take a moment and check out the article: http://ow.ly/pr4On that would be most appreciated. If you are interested in submitting...

Cinema Therapy!

Me as a film critic/theorist and having a degree in cognition/psychology decided to counsel people that have some psychological issues using Cinema Therapy. Let me know if you're interested and I'll tell you much more about this phenomenon that apparently works very well :)

Wow. That's cool. I rely on my favorite films when I have writer's block or just need a pick me up.

Niamh Mac Namara

That sounds really interesting! It's part of the reason I chose to study film; why and how it helps to shape the way we see ourselves and how we behave and react to situations in our lives. I didn't know Cinema Therapy was a thing!

I don't just teach, act, write, shoot, and direct. I have a mission.

I've been doing this for over 40 years, starting in 1970 when I shot Janis Joplin at her last appearance before her tragic death. I like your thread. You are humble and motivating if I may say! Thanks for the encouragement.
All the best to you.

I think it's fascinating that you shot Janis Joplin. Love those types of stories.

Send me a message if you would be interested in working on my project and I will be more than happy to return the fa...

Text to Speech in Final Draft

I can't get text to speech to work in Final Draft 8, when I press play there's no sound. Also, does anyone find this feature to be helpful?

Darlene Eliopoulos

I've used it. I find the robotic voice to be a turn-off, flat with no emotion or connotation. I like hearing my character's voices in my head. I get a better sense of the timing for both drama and comedy. It's fun to play with though...

Ken Konecki

I love it because you can adjust the tones for different characters. Text to speech has help me catch errors that I missed when I read to myself. In regards to your sound issue, check with Final Draft tech support... They reply within 24 hours usually!

It looks good. Congratulations. One shot reminded me of a scene from "At Close Range."

Will Murphy

Thank you so much. Which shot? I've never seen that film.

Darlene Eliopoulos

The field at night. Great shot.
