Wanting to follow his dreams of working in the film industry, Ralph decided to attend Los Angeles City College where he studied Film and Television Production.
Ralph worked on numerous projects as an intern for the American Film Institute (AFI) and wore such hats as Associate Producer, Location Manager and Production Assistant. Soon after that he moved up the ladder and oversaw the daily operations for a successful independent film company.
His first feature film was “Tollbooth” directed by Salome Breziner and starring Fairuza Balk and Will Patton. Ralph landed the job of Assistant to the Director on “Tollbooth” which received rave reviews in Daily Variety and the Los Angeles Times, and premiered at Cannes in 1994.
