Ashley S. Johnson

Ashley S. Johnson is honored to use her gifts of writing, acting and directing to encourage, empower and educate people all over the world! Originally from Baltimore, Maryland--Ashley is a proud graduate of the HBCU, University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

She made her directorial debut with short-film Where is Mother, which was also written and co-produced by her. Where Is Mother screened at the famous TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood and festivals to rave reviews.

Ashley was named a Top 5 Finalist in a 2020 screenwriting competition and won a trip to the prestigious Sundance Film Festival to pitch a criminal justice series! In 2021, Ashley became a 3x author with the release of her children’s book My Daddy, The King-- co-written with her father. Ashley looks forward to writing, directing, and producing film and television for many more years. The best is yet to come!
