Hey, that is so funny. What brought you to the Ukraine? Yes, I have been writing screenplays for about 10 years and one was made into a movie (shot in Austin TX) but it was never released in theaters, but was shown on WGN America. Our producer ended up being a crazy person. I have a book coming out next year. The movie industry is very slow in Colorado. How about you?

Well, to be honest it has been fairly good for the last few years up until now...I am actually looking for projects for myself as an actor...economy is not good and projects have to pull teeth to get funded...not much happening on a regular basis. Up until the last few months, I have been doing okay, but still kept my "Clark Kent day job." I've co-produced and co-starred in one feature length sci-fi three years ago which was released on bit-torrent...great movie, but script should have had better development story-wise to be salable to a big distributor...I had a great part and my scenes from it are on my S32 site. Since then I've done four more movies, one a GIGANTIC, HUGE mega-feature length bi-lingual (English /Russian) historical fiction about WWII and a Soviet spy involved in the making of the atomic bomb...that was released in 8 episodes internationally. I had a great supporting role in it with two scenes in episode 7...lots of fun...cast of many big time stars here in EE, one of whom I worked with. Shot on location down in Yalta,, Crimea a couple of years ago before Putin invaded. Set in 1944 San Francisco so they remade part of the city to look like SF at that time...Many Million$ spent on budget...have not uploaded my scenes yet as they are also saved on bit torrent and I haven't figured out how to get them to load... Anyway did three other made-for-tv movies, one with a British accent. Those provided professional exposure to local producers and directors who then asked me to do other projects...just finished a major Voice Over project for Savic Shuster Productions as now the "Official English Voice of the Brand" for his new international game show called "The Guild." Have contracts for two more movies, one an extremely powerful dramatic short. IF it ever gets production money and gets shot, will be entered into the Berlin Film Festival and is sure to win awards. I have the starring lead in that, and starring lead in a feature length comedy that is supposed to shoot sometime next March or April, depending on weather...irony there is its a story set as Christmas time...lots of "Hollywood snow" to be used in that one.. Really a funny story...should do well if it gets good distribution...indy production by some of the top producers and people from FilmsUA, the largest production and movie company in all of eastern Europe and Russia. I'm also looking at possibly doing a stage production myself of a script from an American writer from S32, Brenda Levino....a dark comedy about three international spies...kind-of/sort-of like B. Willis' movie, "R.E.D." (All my work was on stage, tv and radio before coming here...) I have one of the actors reading it now who I would cast as lead male in it. He's also a producer and director, so I want his opinion about how viable it is on stage in EE given a need to do some translation to a local language, either Ukrainian or Russian...I don't like Russian, but would do it if it made it salable. Would even consider having the writer rewrite it as a screenplay as I do have a big time producer who is interested in looking at it. So.....you asked. Life is pretty slow in CO, eah? I'm truly trying VERY hard to get back to the US now. Seriously. Even looking at taking work as an acting teacher in a college of university...times are tough finance-wise and are not going to improve in the next year or so...have to be realistic about that.
