Hope Thompson

Hope works in multiple genres, from children’s animation to werewolf and vampire stories, procedurals, and mysteries. She has written for CBC's sketch comedy hit 'Baroness Von Sketch', Iceland's 'Tulipop', and for 'The Fabulous Show,' a pre-school drag story time series. Hope brings her queer eye to her screenwriting, as well as to her work in theatre and fiction writing. Hope’s plays have been produced in Canada and in the US, and her short stories have been published in various anthologies and collections. She also writes for the true crime podcast 'Whereabouts Unknown', teaches screenwriting and co-hosts the Toronto Queer Noir reading series.
