Jim Farina

I was born and raised on Chicago's Northwest side. I now live in suburban Palatine with my wife and two children. I commute daily to my North Michigan Avenue office where I'm employed by C+R Research. My various roles at C+R include: Creative Services' Production Manager, Copywriting, newsletter editor and Logistics Manager.

Among my many writing achievements is an award winning screenplay, Martin Eden, adapted from Jack London's novel. Martin Eden took 2nd Place in The Inkwell Opportunity International screenplay competition (2010). Martin Eden has also placed in Sundance Film Festival's Table Read My Screenplay competition, Scriptapalooza, CWA and Fresh Voices competitions.
