About Lindsay

Lindsay is a professional actor, playwright and screenwriter based in Los Angeles, CA and Kansas City, MO.

During the fall of 2021, Lindsay conducted a virtual workshop of an original television series. The workshop was an eight-week long, SAG Micro-Budget Project. She is now taking the next steps for pitching the series in hopes of filming the pilot.

In the summer of 2021, Lindsay was selected as a semifinalist among 350 other writers in the Garry Marshall Theater New Works Festival for her play "The Thought of Us."

Over the summer of 2020, Lindsay portrayed "Murphy" in Those of Us Left Behind by Walter Bros. Pictures. The sold-out premiere was held at the Regnier Extreme Screen in Union Station on Saturday, Jan. 16th, 2021. The film is now available for streaming on YouTube.

In early 2020, Lindsay was lucky enough to star as "Helena" in a production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" directed by Sidonie Garrett, Executive Artistic Director for the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival.

During the summer of 2019, Lindsay had the privilege to perform as "Lily" in Terra Femina Collective's debut production of "Viper." Following that, she worked as a stage manager in the 2019 KC Fringe Festival for the new play "You Are (Not) Okay,” by Joshua Woodall.

In 2018, Lindsay wrote, produced and directed her first original play "The Thought of You," as well as starred as "Molly" in a production of "Belfast Girls," both with Fishtank Theater. In addition, she worked as a stage manager for UMKC's UTA (University Theatre Association) summer production of "Romeo and Juliet."

Lindsay spent the majority of 2017 in Los Angeles. She made her LA debut as "Doris" in Agatha Christie's "The Hollow" at the Theatre Palisades, where she won the season award for Best Cameo Performance. She also starred in the short film "Inhumane" which brought to life the now feature film "I Am Lisa."

In the spring of 2016, Lindsay graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC) with her B.A. in Theatre Performance. During her time at UMKC, she performed in 13 productions, of which included eight principle roles and four leading roles.

​In the fall of 2015, Lindsay served as Assistant Director for Lee's Summit High School's production of "The Pirate Queen," which received over ten Blue Star Award nominations. The following year, she returned to UMKC as Assistant Director for the undergraduate fall production of "The Comedy of Errors."

Lindsay starred in several original works throughout both the spring and summer of 2015. She performed in "The Lash" during the Kansas City Fringe Festival and in various one acts for the annual Project Playwright intensive.

From June through December of 2014, she worked under curator and director Heidi Van as a production intern at the Fishtank Theater in Kansas City's Crossroads Art District. There she learned extensive knowledge in production, stage management and writing.
