Elizabeth Bibb

I'm a print journalist and magazine editor, who also writes plays and screenplays. I have been out of the professional loop for awhile, trying to help my special needs child lead an independent life. As she is now a freshman in college I'm turning back to my writing.

I'm from Kentucky, went to school in England, lived in New Hampshire and New York City, and now juggle time between the city and rural New Jersey (yes, it does exist. hint: head west). I'm married to a peripatetic National Geographic Photographer, with whom I've collaborated on a number of books.

My passions are character-driven pieces, that use naturalistic story-telling to convey bigger-picture themes. I've written three plays and two screenplays. All of which have had readings at off-broadway venues in New York.
