About Craig

Dragon Horse creates melodies, jingles for commercial use, and socially conscious documentaries. Dragon Horse has an in house studio band known as Mercy Sakes Band that records songs for other artists in the genres of pop, rock, bluegrass and country.

Unique traits: Author Biography- Craig Cothren My name is Craig Cothren. I am a retired Special Education School teacher married to a Filipina from the USA. I have taught in a high school for teenagers living in a juvenile detention center with significant behavior challenges. I switched to an elementary school within walking distance of my house. At the elementary school, I taught students with Dyslexia and learned the Orton-Gillingham teaching techniques of teaching letter sounds to students with Dyslexia. The idea of "Good Choices Make You Happy" was conceived when the parents at the elementary school requested assistance in improving their children’s decision-making abilities. "Good Choices Makes You Happy" focuses on all five of the SEL (Social, Emotional Learning) elements which include: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship skills while teaching the different types of decisions and graphically displaying how to improve decisions in a variety of situations to elementary students. After finishing the "Good Choices Make You Happy" book, I moved to the Philippines.
