About Diane
I'm a Jamaican-Canadian Screenwriter who studied "Writing for Film and TV" at the Vancouver Film School. I'm currently the Head Writer and Executive Producer for 2 Episodic TV series (Fab 4 & the Silent Retreat, and The Wonderful Counsellor) and a member of Conch Shell Productions (NYC) Artist Collective 2024-25.
As Business Partner at MBI Productions (Toronto), I help write and oversee a variety of projects including Documentaries (Of Cod and Rum, Rasta: A Soul's Journey), Feature / Rom-coms (Shalom Jamaica, Dying to Retire), Children’s shows (Chloe's Secret Closet, Byron's Backyard Adventures), Christmas MOWs (Steppin' on Holly Mistle's Toe) and Travel docu-series (Hot Buttons; Cut from a Different Cloth).
I also find joy in faith-based content and have written two Features (The Proverbial Fit, Cross-word Puzzles), a comedy Pilot (Faith-Lift ) and Season 1 of the episodic dramedy The Wonderful Counsellor."
