Yann's career began by performing in school plays (In The Blood at the American Theater of Actors was one of his first off-Broadway roles), and auditioned for TV/Films, music videos and commercials. He joined Acting classes at Hunter College in New York City where one of his acting teachers Kathy Liepe-Levinson described him as “so passionate about acting, about the craft, and especially about learning and mastering his acting, that nothing can stop him”. He later on joined the Penny Templeton Studio Theatre where he learned advanced acting techniques and acting on camera.
Yann made his breakthrough film debut as the lead male character in a New York Film Academy short film noir titled “The Final Inspiration” where he played a deranged piano player whose lack of inspiration pushes him to become a compulsive murderer. The film has allowed him to gain exposure and casting directors’ attention to pursue his professional acting career in films.
Yann is currently working on three major projects to be released later this year.
