About James

Hello, I’m a screenwriter that’s looking to break into the industry. I majored in English: Creative Writing at California State University, Northridge. This is where I learned the craft of written storytelling. After graduating, I taught myself how to write screenplays. I owe my writing sensibilites to THE HOLLYWOOD STANDARD by Christopher Riley and SAVE THE CAT by Black Snyder. These books are my screenwriting Bibles. I hope to use this website to connect with fellow screenwriters and filmmakers. One of my favorite aspects of film industry is the collaboration. I love assembling a team and crafting a story.
