Obsessed with Bruce Lee Movies at the age of 12, I had no choice but to become a Kung-Fu Master myself.
Over the years, the martial arts have awakened in me the will to educate myself, not only physically but also spiritually. So, I studied Philosophy and Psychology to back up a healthy body with a knowing mind. I especially liked caustic thinkers like Nietzsche and Schopenhauer as well as the philosophy of the Japanese Samurai and the Korean Hwarang.
Because life has taught me it takes a lot of diligence and patience to achieve one's ideals, I am also a humble and reliable screenwriter. The passion for writing is a gift from my parents who both where journalists and always encouraged me to express myself creatively.
Since I’m a philosopher and humanist, my work is not only about exciting action but also about making strong statements on social constructs and show the protagonist’s struggle for identity.
Being a breed of German, Italian and Indonesian heritage, I like to bring people together with action, fun and something to think and talk about when the movie is over.
