My name is Lorna Green. I've just learned that my screenplay Fly Away is an Academy Nicholls Top Ten Percent selection. I'm eager to break into television writing and am seeking a literary manager. I'm developing a few original pilots, and am always seeking collaboration with other screenwriters and creatives.

As I wrote multiple short stories(even before I started to write screenplays), I've noticed that when I create a character, I only set its name and the city of origin. I never think about its social background, skin color, ethnicity, and/ or physical appearance(eg: hair color, height, body type, etc.). Is it ok to do this in a screenplay or should a character be fully described in all the above aspects?

Just wanted to share my experience with the above-mentioned initiative. I just got back coverage from Jessica Kardos and it was EXCEPTIONAL!
