Like many voiceover artists, Mike accidentally discovered his talent while pursuing another career. He began his corporate life as a Technical Support Engineer. After close to 20 years of supporting clients on both server and desktop products (and many, many people saying that he should do something with his voice), he took the opportunity of a corporate downsizing to jump in to voice-overs with both feet and, as they say - the rest is voiceover history.
He holds a Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and numerous other certificates for voiceover training. Mike is also a classically trained musician, having played trombone and sung for more years than he cares to remember.
As a voice talent, Mike has worked with many of the world’s top companies such as Philips, Bank of America, Johnson & Johnson, Pandora, Burger King, EMC, iRobot, The White House Fellows, and many, many others. He has a Source Connect certified voiceover studio and mobile voiceover studio as well.
Mike is a very versatile voice performer, using his warm, friendly voiceover style to voice everything from corporate narrations and medical eLearning videos to cartoons to national tv and radio commercials. Seamlessly shifting between the conversational, the humorous, and the dramatic, Mike has also used his voice to help teach school kids about various geologic and scientific topics while keeping them engaged and excited about the subject.
Mike has trained diligently with respected experts in the voiceover acting field including Harlan Hogan, Marice Tobias, Will Lyman, Susan Berkley, and numerous others.
