Filmmaker Ray Izad-Mehr began his 25-year career with stints at William Morris
Agency, Universal Pictures Marketing, director John Landis, and HBO Films.
In 1999, Izad-Mehr opened the doors to Ozon Films, and began his career as an
independent producer and director, with a myriad of projects ranging from
music videos, reality television, award-winning short films*, and international ad
campaigns.
In 2019 Izad-Mehr produced the independent feature horror film Black Pumpkin
as well as completed the documentary based on the life of female MMA legend
Ronda Rousey Through My Father’s Eyes** (released by Lionsgate, streaming on
Netflix). He created and is in active development on several television series
including A-Listers, an Entourage-esque comedy, Sinbad: Lord of The 7 Seas, an
action-adventure espisodic, and Arya a psycholgical thriller feature film, which
he wrote and plans to direct.
Ray also serves the management of CR8 STAGES,
a 4-acre full service studio facility, as VP of Marketing and Operations.
Izad-Mehr lives in Brentwood with his wife Sara Vahabi, an Oscar awards
consultant. He recieved a BA in Film Production with a minor in Marketing in
1998 from Cal State University Northridge.
