About Jamie
I'm a midwesterner born and raised which is very prevalent in my writing. I grew up in Wisconsin and went to Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Go Bulldogs!
Other strong opinions are driven from my being single until the ripe age of 39 and then jumping into the roller coaster that is being a stepmom. I've worked in bars, a paper mill, a floral shop, a supermarket and even dabbled in being a teacher. While my gypsy approach to a career wasn't necessarily getting the stamp of approval from my parents, it has provided a plethora of source material for my writing! I know I am finally doing what I was meant to do. I love the therapy of writing and most importantly, I love making people laugh.
