About Clay

Clay honed his writing talents at Indiana University and upon graduating moved to Los Angeles, where he made the decision to leave a prominent role at a Medical Technology company to focus full time on his passion of writing. Growing up without a father, gay an athlete in Indiana helped to forge a sharp-edged perspective that challenges the boundaries of societal norms. He applies this in his depictions of family and the complicated dynamics that effects all parts of our life, including how we love and find our identity. His own life experiences of having to internalize and push down the anger and fear of homophobia that surrounded him and his own transformation is what connects him deeply to his stories.
