Part 2: Facing Illusions - A Hard Truth
Last week I shared the first leg of my journey with you all, including how I pitched a show called the Magna Carta to the producer's of the King's Speech. This week in Part 2, I want to share what I learned from my collaboration with the producers of The King's Speech and The Tudors. It has a little something to do with not loving rewrites.
My experience led me to some powerful insights that changed not only my approach to my work and craft, but also my approach to myself.
Before this experience, I was in conflict with myself about my work and what I loved to do. I discovered that the best teacher there is, is the one inside yourself. But I had to learn to LISTEN. Once I did that, everything else started to change. My work, my career, my peace of mind, everything.

I believe there is something here, in the folds of my story, that can help everyone, no matter what it is you do. And that's because facts can be way more interesting than fiction. Take what happened to King John, for example. Here's a quick look at his interesting and unpredictable life:
