3 Contests - Oscars, Features & TV

We have a few exciting contests going on for our Stage 32 members. In case you missed the announcements, we wanted to make sure you were aware of the opportunies that are available. From a fun way to participate in the Oscars to a feature script and teleplay contest, there is incredible opportunity to help improve your craft.
 

First, if you missed our announcement about The 3rd annual Stage 32 Oscar Contest it is now live!
Every year we invite our Stage 32 community to vote on your choice for the Oscar winners. The 10 entries with the most correct will win awesome prizes. Last year's winner, Mike Breen, set a pretty high bar nailing 23 selections. Let's see if anyone can beat that for 2015! All you have to do is go down the list, point, click, and submit. It's that simple.

Plus, don’t forget our Founder & CEO, RB, will be live-tweeting during the Oscars. If you are looking forward to some witty banter about Hollywood's biggest night, make sure you follow him on Twitter:

Second, the Stage 32 Happy Writers Annual Feature Contest Early Bird Deadline is next Wednesday, February 25 at midnight, so don’t miss out. We are looking to find the top undiscovered writers and the best feature scripts of 2015. As a result of our history with industry insiders and our global reach, we are able to connect the top writers from around the world to leading executives who can make a difference in their career. We develop and champion our writers and our executives certainly agree, click here to see what they say about us. Also, our success stories speak for themselves.

We have some incredible opportunities lined up for the writers who place in the top 10 or as finalists:

  • Three (3) Grand Prize winners will be flown to LA for meetings with 10 leading industry executives

  • Second through Fifth place winners will meet with leading industry executives one-on-one via Skype.

  • 10 Writers Receive Prize Packages

  • All Finalists will have their loglines exposed to over 300 industry executives including literary managers, agents and producers

 

Third, we are excited to announce the Semi-Finalists for the First Annual Stage 32 Happy Writers TV Writing Contest. Our judges shared with us throughout the process how amazed they were with the quality of material that was submitted to the contest.
