Announcing the 8th Annual Feature Comedy Screenwriting Contest

Comedy features always have the potential to become classics - we all want more reasons to laugh! Your script could be the beloved film of a generation, and we want to help it get there.

Stage 32 offers access to some of the biggest names in the industry, including executives from 3Pas Studios, Osbrink Media, American High and more with credits and client credits like HORRIBLE BOSSES, TRAINWRECK and 21 JUMP STREET to name a few. We are looking for feature comedy scripts of all subjects - whether your film is edgy, wholesome or anything in between, our judges want to read it!

So many of our previous Feature Comedy contest winners and finalists have been signed. Stage 32 has quickly emerged as the leading source for industry executives to uncover new talent! Is this your year to move the needle on your career?

  • Eric Jeske, winner of the 5th Annual Feature Contest, was signed by First Friday Entertainment after meeting with them as part of his Stage 32 contest win!
  • Last year’s winners, Rachel & Bobby Eddy, are currently working with executives they met through Stage 32 to develop their winning script, Jew-ish
  • Finalists have had their work requested by and met with managers and producers at Good Fear Content, Amasia Entertainment, Aspire Talent and many others

 

This year's Grand Prize winner will be flown to Hollywood to meet with our amazing panel of judges including - but not limited to - Manager at Artists First Kevin Parker, Head of Development & Production at WideAwake, Inc Jason Benoit, Manager/Producer at GRLBND Media Christina Campagnola and more!

 

ALL FINALISTS will receive a FREE MONTH OF THE MEMBER'S ONLY STAGE 32 WRITERS' ROOM and will be in a Stage 32 Look Book which includes their script title, logline & bio mailed to over 500 industry executives including, managers, agents, producers, development executives, and financiers! Stage 32 Look Books are some of the most sought after talent resources for the industry and have helped secure meetings with places like Verve, Good Fear, 3 Arts, APA, Echo Lake, Amazon, UTA, CAA, WME, First Friday, Pathfinder, The Cartel, Art/Work and many, many more.
