Welcome to the weekend, everyone.  Let’s get right to it…

Under ENTERTAINMENT NEWS this week, The Shawshank Redemption turns 20 and Frank Darabont, Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins got together to tell tales from the set and beyond.  It's a cool look back at the film currently ranked #1 on IMDB's Top 250 Films of All Time.

Also under ENTERTAINMENT NEWS,  a look back at directing great Mike Nichols, 10 films that went through hell to get made, indie films may cause a stir again at this year’s Oscar ceremony, Hillary Swank speaks out regarding the pay discrepancy between actors and actresses in Hollywood, unknown actors are making a name for themselves in this season’s hits, why publicity matters for filmmakers, some SAG-AFTRA news, and much, much more.

Under VIDEOS, I have the latest trailers for Better Call Saul, Point and Shoot and Mortdecai.  And under TIPS, I have some 411 for filmmakers, cinematographers, screenwriters and producers.

But wait, there’s more.  It was a great week for many of our members who found success either in the Jobs section, through networking or by pitching with the Stage 32 Happy Writers.  You can read all the latest and greatest under SUCCESS STORIES.

And finally, I have all the most recent STAGE 32 NEWS, the POPULAR AND INTERESTING LOUNGE DISCUSSIONS from the last few weeks and all the PROPOSED AND PLANNED STAGE 32 MEETUPS happening around the globe.

I welcome your thoughts on any of the content below in the Comments section.

Have a fantastic weekend (an Introduce Yourself Weekend at that).  Enjoy!
