Welcome to the weekend, everyone. Lots of content for you this week. Let’s get right to it.

Under ENTERTAINMENT NEWS, a really cool story on Marlon Brando and his secret A-List Acting School. Having seen Listen to Me Marlon at the Sundance Film Festival in January, I found this story particularly interesting. Even if you haven’t seen the documentary (it’s getting limited theatrical and then a Showtime run soon), I think you’ll find this article quite fascinating.

Also in that section: Cannes festival chiefs say Twitter is hurting film criticism; TV’s top film directors share some secrets; why more and more A-List actors are hitting the small screen; producer Robert Chartoff and actor Christopher Lee have passed; Uwe Boll goes (further) off the reservation; Netflix adds Brad Pitt, Italy, Portugal and Spain; Monaco and Spain get into the tax incentive game; a complete list of the Tony Award winners; Larry David leaves Broadway while Jerry Seinfeld returns and much, much more.

Under TIPS this week, I have some 411 on filmmaking, slate operators, screenwriting, voice acting and more. And under VIDEOS, Jane Fonda and Viola Davis talk acting and I have the trailers for Macbeth and Bridge of Spies.

Lots of activity around the site as well. You can find all the latest and greatest Stage 32 neighborhood happenings under STAGE 32 NEWS.

Last week over 90 Stage 32 members gathered at Paramount Studios for a meetup and plenty more across the world are scheduled for the coming weeks. See if there’s one in your area (or start one up!) under STAGE 32 MEETUPS.

Our Next Level Education continues to garner rave reviews. 91% of those who have taken a Next Level Education webinar or class say they would take another – a staggering number. We have some really cool and informative webinars and classes scheduled for June and July. You can check out what’s on the horizon under STAGE 32 EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.

And finally, it was another really busy week on the site. I’d like to thank all who have contributed to the Stage 32 Lounge by posting content, sharing your wisdom and experience or simply asking and answering questions. We’ve compiled some of the best conversations of the last weeks under POPULAR AND INTERESTING STAGE 32 MEETUPS.

As always, I welcome remarks and healthy debate on any of the content below in the Comments section.

Enjoy and have a creative weekend!

Cheers!
