Stage 32 Academy Award Contest

Time to have some fun...

This Oscar season has been the most unpredictable in ages. With less than a week to go before the big night, many of the so called "experts" remain up in the air on most of the major awards. Will Argo become the first film since Driving Miss Daisy (and the 4th overall) to win Best Picture without the director being nominated? Will Spielberg score for Best Director, or has the momentum for Lincoln cooled? Will it be 85 year old, Emmanuelle Riva for Best Actress, or does 9 year old, Quvenzhan'e Wallis have a shot? Will Roger Deakins finally take home his first Oscar for cinematography for his work on Skyfall?

Questions abound...

Here's your shot to take a stab at who will take home the gold. The first 15 Stage 32'ers to select the correct Oscar winners (or get the closest) will receive a Stage 32 shirt and their selection of one of the following prizes:

• A copy of Beverly Leech's ACTOR MUSCLE: Craft. Grit. Wit.: A Professional Guide to the Business of Acting
• A signed copy of Doug Richardson's upcoming novel Blood Money
• A DVD of the documentary Char·ac·ter featuring Peter Falk, Sydney Pollack, Charles Grodin, and Dabney Coleman speaking to the craft of acting

A couple of quick rules:

• You may only submit one ballot. You can update your picks any time before the awards ceremony starts (Sunday, February 24th - 5:30 PM PST).
• You must select one winner in each category.
