Happy Holidays, Stage 32 Community!
We hope everyone had an excellent time with family, food, and friends!
It’s that time again, everyone! This is our monthly salute to just some of the fantastic members here at Stage 32 who have achieved some success in this past month. Highlighting these milestones never gets old. We truly, truly enjoy celebrating the successes of these hard-working creatives, it’s why we do what we do at Stage 32. We are very aware of the the passion and effort you all put in to your craft each and every day, and we want you to know that we see you. And when that hard work pays off with some honest to goodness progress and movement, nothing makes us happier!
Without further ado, let’s dive into the signings, deals, meetings, script requests, some of the groovy happenings from the month of December…
Congrats to Stage 32 member Anthony McBride, whose script ABOLTION won the first festival it was submitted to! The initial idea for the script was honed in a discussion between Anthony and his fellow Writers Room members, so don’t be afraid to utilize the Writers Room lounge for feedback and brainstorming on that kernel of a concept that you might have brewing! Anthony also cites courses he took on Stage 32, as well as consultation calls with Stage 32 execs, as amazing tools he used to help craft and refine his now award-winning screenplay! Way to go, Anthony!
