Hellooooo, Stage 32 Community!
We’re heading into the holiday season and I hope everyone is feeling thankful and staying warm! And Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrated it! Now, we all know what time it is! It’s time for our monthly salute to our fantastic members here at Stage 32. I can’t tell you how much we enjoy highlighting and celebrating the successes of these hard-working creatives, it’s what we live for here at Stage 32. We love to shine the spotlight on these special members of the Stage 32 family and share their stories of success with everyone. We know very, very well the passion and effort you all put into your craft each and every day, and we want you to know that we see you! And when that hard work pays off with some honest-to-goodness progress and movement, nothing makes us happier!
Without further ado, let’s dive into the signings, deals, meetings, script requests, and some of the groovy happenings from the month of November…
Congrats to Stage 32 member Joey Velazquez, who has been signed by manager Mike Griffin at Luber-Rocklin. They are currently packaging Joey’s script WHEN IT RAINS, with Madelaine Petsch (RIVERDALE, THE STRANGERS: CHAPTER 1) attached to star and they are currently out to directors. They met through the Stage 32 Look Book program on Stage 32. That’s HUGE!
Congrats to Stage 32 1st Annual Holiday winner Ashley Bower. Ashley met with producer Robin Galloway of Gramercy Park in regards to her winning script STRAYS, GAYS, and HOLIDAYS. After their meeting, Robin requested to see more scripts from Ashley!
Congrats to Stage 32 Member Tara Joshi and their writing partner Thomas Waschenfelder, who met with Sarah Cornelius from Whitewater Films for their script ALMOST INDIAN. Love to see these meetings happen!
