Hello There, Stage 32 Community!
Summer has turned to Fall, time for sweater weather, foliage and all things pumpkin spice! And of course it is also time for end of the month celebration of our phenomenal members here at Stage 32, in particular their recent successes! We love to take this opportunity to shine the spotlight on just some of the incredible writers and creatives in the Stage 32 family and share their stories of success with everyone! We know how much time, effort and dedication you all put in to your craft, we see it day in and day out and it’s truly amazing! And when that hard work pays off with some honest to goodness progress and movement, it makes it all worthwhile.
Without further ado, let’s dive into the signings, deals, meetings, script requests, and all of the fun happenings from the month of September…
Congrats to our member Julie Rogers ! Julie is a long-time author, she has been perfecting her craft and telling stories for years. Her journey has been one of hard work and dedication, and her blog post detailing this journey is an inspiring read for sure. After a recent consultation with Stage 32 exec Sean Hussey, Julie suddenly found herself partnered with Sean and the company he works for, Buffalo 8, who have come onboard as executive producers on her project “Falling Stars”! Stoked for you, Julie!
Congrats to our member Kim Hornsby! Check out Kim’s amazing blog post in the link below, it’s worth the read. Kim found her manager through Stage 32 not too long ago, and more recently, after a successful pitch session with a Stage 32 exec, that exec has submitted her script to CBS, where it has gone to the next level of consideration. As Kim puts it: “Even if the gates don’t continue to open, at least that industry person will know my name and how I write.” Crushing it, Kim!
