Happy Sunday Creative Army!
For the last week, it has been non-stop here at Stage 32. Ever since we announced our screening initiative to help filmmakers affected by the SXSW cancellation, support from the media and the Stage 32 community has been constant and awe-inspiring. On behalf of my entire team here at Stage 32, we thank you for your epic support. We may have even shouted our thanks from a rooftop or two. The submissions are rolling in, and we are thrilled to be giving these displaced filmmakers the recognition and opportunities their talents and hard work richly deserve.
Today, I wanted to take a minute to offer some content, creativity, and a bit of consistency comfort amidst the current COVID-19 craziness. So grab your coffee, and get ready for your usual Sunday dose of Coffee & Content.
First up, actor, director, and creative entrepreneur Joseph Gordon-Levitt takes the TED stage to discuss how craving attention makes you less creative. Tune in below to learn why and how you should focus on paying attention instead of seeking attention.
Next up, seven very funny ladies sit down and talk shop with The Hollywood Reporter. Spend an hour learning from Alex Borstein (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Killing Eve), Maya Rudolph (Forever), Jane Fonda (Grace and Frankie), Natasha Lyonne (Russian Doll), Regina Hall (Black Monday), and Tiffany Haddish (The Last O.G.).
Here at Stage 32, we love to share stories and knowledge with our fellow film fans. Know someone who would love this content? Share it with them! Tag them below! You can keep up with all of our content by subscribing to the Stage 32 YouTube. For all of the latest updates on our SXSW initiative follow me on Twitter @rbwalksintoabar.
Wishing you a very happy and healthy Sunday.
Cheers,
RB
