Happy Sunday, Creative Army!

Have you had a creative weekend so far? I have some content here for you that is sure to get the creative juices flowing, so grab your coffee, and let's dive in.

After looking at pre-production last week, it seemed fitting to take the opposite approach and go into post-production. The editing of a project can be a make or break. Editors are just as much creatives and writers as everyone else involved in your project, but you can't get to the creative part of post-production if you're not set up properly from the beginning. In this video from B&H, they give you the essential elements for a successful post-production. The more you work at nailing these steps, the more you can have fun and play with the process, allowing for unexpected surprises and choices that can make your project stand out from the rest. And for a look at what this process is like from an award-winning professional, be sure to check out this webinar from Won Novalis.

Next up, we've got a video from Film Riot on color grading. Color grading is the manipulation of the coloring and lighting within the frame to heighten the moment, create visual cohesion, add to a project's overall tone, and more. Part of this process actually happens when you're shooting in production, but another happens at the end when you're in post. And this video does a great job of showing you the great impact you can have on your project with a simple understanding of how to use color grading.
